Comments: Your excellent contributions by Ingrid Pitt about the dangers of motor racing brought back a childhood memory for me. That of sitting in front of the TV aged about 8 in about 1961, watching the BBC Saturday afternoon sports programme - Grandstand. Motor racing was on - probably the British Grand Prix from Silverstone or somewhere similar - you can tell I'm no motor racing buff. Stirling Moss was driving - and I remember the terrible accident he had, shown live on the box - I think he skidded off the track. You will probaably be able to put me right on the details of my memory. Maybe you were there?

Comments: Tony, These stories have been great. They give a real insight into what really happened, rather than the superficial view of people not actively involved in the sport. I'm pleased to see you've even allowed the lovely Ingrid (Mrs. Rudlin) to appear as a guest writer and the tales you've been posting just get better and better. Please keep 'em comin'. Bob

Comments: Great stuff! Looking forward to the Blackpool Grand Prix and the Fish & Chips recipe! Seriously Tony, great to see you on the web and I'm sure there's some great memories about to hit cyberspace! That technical stuff just gets in the way.

Comments: My Dear Mr. Rudlin! I am looking forward to reading stories and generally wondering why it is that we stunning babes were ever only worth half a point. But I digress. This looks like an abosulte hoot and I'm delighted to have been directed to it.
All the best,
Jessie The Madwoman of Santa Cruz
